Take a picnic to boreal forests and the history of sand extraction from the Guide Hut. The easy trail suitable also for wheelchairs and baby buggies.

Trail starts in front of Guide Hut Telkäntupa. Päästäisenpolku follows Korpinkierros and Joutsenenlenkki at first, but shortly it departs to follow shoreline of Pond Porttilammi. After about 200 meters you will arrive to the rest site of Porttilammi (campfire site, dry toilet for disables). Return to Haaruksenportti trail goes on the southern side of Porttilammi.
The coating on the trail is composed of flatted-out rocks and cinder and there are not many height differences at the trail. There are disabled parking permit near Guide Hut and ramps to Guide Hut and disabled dry toilet.
